Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are looking for a team-player to work in our warehouse department in our Burnaby location.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Freezer Assembler will be responsible for picking freezer products by using operating forklifts and pallet jacks. This will involve handling, moving, loading and unloading materials by hand and using a variety of handling equipment. The successful candidate must be able to handle repetitive movements and lift 50lbs.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Any 8 hours from 01:30PM to 10:00PM, Monday – Saturday, must be available to work on Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick and pack orders according to the packing slip and our standard operating procedures
  • Utilize power tools and equipment to select and palletize orders effectively
  • Participate in receiving, checking, and storing stock promptly and accurately
  • Replenish picking locations and assist in unloading trailers/trucks to maintain inventory levels
  •  Provide support across various warehouse functions, including shipping, freight, returns, and Customer Pick-Up departments, as necessary
  • Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse space, ensuring all areas, especially the Freezer department, are clean and organized.
  • Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the freezer in accordance with company SOPs This includes building orders onto pallets for shipping and supporting other duties related to warehouse maintenance
  • Work in accordance with company’s standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in all warehouse activities
  • Support the Warehouse team as needed

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working in a freezer environment or cold storage will be highly regarded
  • Forklift and reach truck certifications or related experience are beneficial

  • Physical demands of walking, standing and repetitive lifting
  • Working in cooler and freezer environment packing and unloading frozen food

Benefits:

  • $500 Signing Bonus to be awarded after successful completion of probation period.
