Canda Six Fortune is one of the leading wholesalers and distributors of Asian food products. We are looking for a Mainstream Market –  Food Service Sales Representative or Food Service Account Manager to join our sales team in our ON office.

*Applicants may be considered for either the Sales Representative position or the more senior Account Manager position depending on their level of experience, knowledge and capability.

Position Summary:

The Mainstream Market – Food Service Sales Representative/Account Manager reports to the Regional Director for Ontario as well as the Mainstream Market – Sales Manager in BC. The Mainstream Market – Food Service Sales Representative/Account Manager is responsible for business development and account management of Food Service Distributors.


  • Specialize in generating new business with food service distributors in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic territories through prospecting, cold calling, networking and relationship building
  • Develop and expand food listing base with existing food service customers and food distributors
  • Evaluate customer business needs and analyze food market trends to develop customer focused product items
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills/ability to manage and maintain profitable margins
  • Develop a territory specific strategy to increase market share by outlining tactics, activities and resources
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Canda Six Fortune’s products
  • Deliver presentations and possibly perform food demonstrations to food service distributors and restaurants

Requirements/ Must-haves:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience in food service industry dealing with customers and food distributors
  • Use of a reliable vehicle with full driver’s license is required
  • Proficiency in English: written and spoken is a must. Proficiency in French would be a bonus.
  • Persuasive communication skills combined with strong presentation skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Able to handle sales pressure and client objections independently
  • Proficiency with PC (working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift/carry cases of product up to 20kg
  • Confidence and motivation to drive the business forward
  • Good multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills

  • Passion for food and learning new recipes (cultural fit)
  • French language skills
