Canda Six Fortune is one of the leading wholesalers and distributors of Asian food products from around the world. We are looking for a Janitor to support our daily operations in our Ontario office.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Janitor is responsible for cleaning, replenishing, and floor care; maintaining the cleanliness and safety of floor areas in common areas, entrances and the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Emptying trash bins and other waste/scrap containers
• Sweeping warehouse floor
• Maintaining and replenishing supplies in cafeteria and washrooms
• Exterior maintenance of grounds including garbage removal and yard clean-up
• Perform any other duties or functions as requested by Management
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Working Conditions:

• Physical demands of walking, standing, repetitive motions and lifting

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

• Experience working in a warehouse and production environment
• Proven work experience as a Cleaner
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Ability to communicate in English

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

• Ability to communicate in Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus
