Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a candidate for the position as a field sales representative in our ON office.

Position Summary:

The Food Services – Sales Representative reports to the Food Service Sales Department Manager and is a team-player; supporting the Sales department in achieving sales targets.

The role involves travelling locally to meet customers for sales meetings. The Food Service – Sales Representative meets with local retail stores, restaurants and distributors related to food service sales in order to maintain and grow customers accounts.


  • Establish and maintain accounts through daily planning and scheduling to engage potential customers
  • Update the team with current market insights on products and delivery timelines
  • Inform management through regular reports on activities, results, and weekly work plans
  • Achieve sales targets and objectives, including product promotion and introducing new offerings to meet customer needs
  • Enhance product penetration and establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with current and prospective customers to expand the business
  • Manage clearance of short expiry products and conduct product and market research
  • Address customer concerns promptly with professionalism
  • Ensure timely collection of payments to prevent aging debts
  • Possess the ability to lift and carry product cases up to 20kg

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 1-year of sales experience
  • Basic product knowledge and sales known-how
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategy
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong presentation and financial management skills.
  • Market development – Ability to open new accounts for restaurant customers
  • Customer relationship management – Ability to maintain and develop long term customer relationships
  • Ability to push and promote products as well as use sales tools
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken is a must
  • Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with PC (working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Use of a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license is required
  • Ability to travel to different cities within ON

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

  • Over 2 years of restaurant or food industry career/background would be an asset
  • Ability to analyze and identify market trends, changes and implications, develop objectives, strategies, etc.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese will be an asset
