Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading wholesalers and distributors of Asian food products. To fulfill our operational needs, we are currently recruiting a Full-Time Delivery Driver with a Class 5 Driver’s License to make local deliveries for our AB division.

Position Summary:

The Full-Time Delivery Driver will make frequent deliveries. This role involves frequent movement and lifting. Applicants must hold a Class 5 driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The driver will be operating a 5-ton truck to deliver goods to restaurants and supermarkets.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday (Weekend required if needed)
• 40 hours per week between 8:00am to 6:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of vehicles before departing to deliver goods.
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to the company’s specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers, including restaurants and supermarkets, on assigned routes.
• Unload goods as per client specifications; all goods must be delivered inside business premises.
• Move objects using a power jack tool.
• Obtain delivery confirmations/signatures from each customer.
• Check inventory against invoices with customers.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Collect cash, cheques, or CODs when required.
• Comply with the company’s delivery standard operating procedures.

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

• At least 3 years of experience operating 5-ton trucks.
• Applicants who have less than 3 years experience of driving 5-ton truck vehicles, please do not apply.
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
• Related delivery experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive a commercial truck and operate a lift gate.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Conversational English Skills.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

• Previous experience using electric power jacks
