Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. We are currently looking for a Operations Coordinator to join our team.

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a driven and skilled Operations Coordinator to join Canda Six Fortune (CSF) in Alberta. In this role, you’ll manage operations and efficiency for our company. This position supports multiple locations within the group, requiring agility and the ability to pivot seamlessly between projects and priorities. We are looking for someone with a strong problem-solving background, eager to tackle new challenges and learn at every step. You thrive on details, turning dashboards and metrics into clear, actionable insights, and excel at motivating teams to achieve results.   1. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a central point of contact between internal teams.
  2. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key operational metrics, including influencer live reads, inventory levels, and logistic metrics to drive continuous improvements.
  3. Risk Management: Identify potential challenges and risks in operations, staying proactive to prevent issues like product stockouts and ensuring smooth execution across all goods.
  4. Communication and Reporting: Manage notices and ensure all operational activities are aligned with company goals, providing clear, actionable insights and reports to senior leadership.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and enhance team collaboration as the group continues to expand into new brands and products.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Sales Admin team in BC and assist operations in Alberta
  • Overview to ensure daily operations are consistent across regions
  • Highly engage in period end closing as well as cycle count and inventory count
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Provide training and coordinate shift and scheduling to sustain daily operations, when required
  • Greeting people coming into the office and direct them to the appropriate contacts
  • Operate a simple telephone system to answer, screen and forward telephone calls
  • Answer customer enquiries and arrange courier services
  • Take messages and provide information in person and by phone
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Perform basic data entry and general clerical support when required
  • Coordinate and train the supporting staff to maintain office tidiness and cleanliness
  • Manage distribution of information and keep track of records
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Perform data entry as required for the production process and customer service including work orders, invoices, purchase orders etc
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for staff
  • Communicate with the janitorial company to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the office areas
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures by participating in the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements / Must-Haves:

  • Post-secondary or related training preferred
  • A successful candidate must be reliable, responsible, punctual and be able to follow directions and work overtime
  • Must have well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Should have an interest in working both independently and as part of a team in an office setting
  • Should have good attention to details, quick keyboarding skills and knowledge of office software
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English

Assets / Nice-to-Haves:

  • Preferably one to two years of experience in office operations and sales administration
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset to support communication with international customers or suppliers
